Phi Phi Island
Phi Phi Island (เกาะพีพี), Amongst the most beautiful islands in the world, consist of two main islands: Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le Island. They are located 40 km from Krabi as well as Phuket and can be reached from both by a 2 hour boat trip.

Phi Phi Don Island covers a total area of 28 square kilometers: 8 km in length and 3.5 km at its broadest point. This is the largest of the Phi Phi islands, and offers some of the most arresting scenery available anywhere in the world. At the north end is Cape Tong (Leam Tong), where there is a Chao Ley, or sea gipsy village. These sea gipsies emigrated from Koh Lipeh in Tarutao National Park, near the border with Malaysia and lived on the islands long before tourism arrived. There are two long beaches next to the main town - the two curving bays of Ton Sai and Loh Dalam.

Phi Phi Le Island is 6.6 square kilometers in total area: 3 km in length and 1 km at its broadest point. The second largest of the Phi Phi Island chain, Phi Phi Le is extremely beautiful, and pristine. The island is entirely limestone and steep cliffs rising from the sea very nearly ring it. surrounding waters average about 20 meters in depth, reaching 34 meters at the deepest point off the island's southern tip. Phi Phi Le has several beautiful bays: Pileh Bay (Ao Pileh), Maya, and Loh Samah. Maya Bay is one of Phi Phi's number one tourist attractions, being that is was the setting for the film "The Beach" starring Leo Di Caprio. On Phi Phi Le's northeast is the famous Wiking Cave. It is a place much revered by the local people who still come there to collect the swift's nests used to make Bird' nest Soup, a Chinese delicacy.

Phi Phi Don Island
Loh Bagao (Ao Bagao) Loh Bagao Bay (Ao Loh Bagao)
On Phi Phi Island is the area's most secret and secluded paradise. Since Loh Ba Gao has no deep water pier, the villages tend to be extremely small. As a matter of fact, Loh Ba Gao houses a village that is 1/50 th the size of a traditional Phi Phi Island village. As an extremely remote and isolated location, Loh Ba Gao is one of the best places for Phi Phi Island holidays. In one simple statement, Loh Ba Gao is a coconut paradise surrounded by white sandy beaches and mountain cliffs. On the other side of the area is the aquamarine sea of Phang Nga Bay.
Loh Dalum Bay (Ao Loh Dalum) Loh Dalum Bay (Ao Loh Dalum)
Loh Dalum Bay is an idyllic, exotic and tropical paradise surrounded by hills on all sides. Its 1 km. long beach which comprises silky soft white sand and turquoise water is visited by many tourists. The activities here include sunbathing, watersports and pictures of scenic beauty. Only 42 km. from Krabi or 48 km. from Phuket and about an hour and a half by daily passenger boats.
Loh Lana Bay (Ao Loh Lanna) Loh Lana Bay (Ao Loh Lanna)
A horseshoe shaped bay surrounded by hills. It has a powder white sand beach of gradual slop, shallow water and rocks. No resorts are available. Boats sailing to other islands stop here for a break before continuing their journeys.
Loh Modee Bay (Ao Modee) Loh Modee Bay (Ao Modee)
Loh Modee bay is one of Phi Phi Island’s quiet places and remotest beaches. However the paradox is is that it is only 12 minutes walk from Phi Phi Long Beach. The sea at Loh Modee is beautiful here with an off shore reef dropping down 2-4 meters with a wonderful variety of corals and marine life and is great for snorkeling. If you take the path behind the last big Tonsai tree on the east of Long Beach you go over an easy track uphill for about 6 minutes and then come down on the other side to Loh Modee. You can also get here by longtail boat from the main village and it will take 12 minutes.
Rantee Beach Rantee Beach
Only 300 m. from the east of Koh Phi Phi, lies Ran Tee beach and a small beach with clean white sand and crystal clear blue water of only 2 m. deep. This bay is an excellent site for snorkeling.
Mai Phai Bay (Ao Mai Phai) Ton Sai Bay (Ao Ton Sai)
Ton Sai is a lively bay with a pier where boats and ships from Krabi and Phuket stop, a 2-km. long beach with powder white sand that fringes with crystal clear turquoise water, accommodations for all types of budgets, shops, restaurants, entertainment establishments and all the facilities. From here, you can take a long-tail boat to many beaches. The cliffs of Ton Sai bay through to the golden sands of Long Beach creates an awe inspiring spectacle. Many of the passengers of the daily move to the side of the ferries and even the bigger ferries list a degree or two.
Tong Cape (Laem Tong) Tong Cape (Laem Tong)
Tong Cape is at the northern end of Phi Phi Don. It's quiet, tranquil and you really get the the essence of the tropical paradise. All the resorts in this area are all beach resorts located on the eastern side of the peninsular which means spectacular sunsets and during the hottest time of the year there's a slight north easterly breeze to cool you down. Since there are no roads on Phi Phi Tong Cape can easily be classed as a remote location, although there is a footpath which weaves it's way through the jungle to the busy part of the island (Phi Phi Don Village) it's faster and easier to hop on a long tail boat who can take you along the coastline, it's also one of the most scenic taxi rides you'll ever take.
Yong Kasem Bay (Ao Yong Kasem) Yong Kasem Bay (Ao Yong Kasem)
Located just outside Loh Dalum Bay to the west, Monkey Bay is a deserted tranquil beach with good coral. Some daytrips stop here to see the monkeys, watch out - they can be very cheeky. This is a nice place to explore by kayak from Loh Dalum Beach. It is also known as Monkey beach because it is a large habitat of moneys.
